Wouldn’t it be nice if you could read one sentence or even one paragraph and suddenly understand the entirety of All That Is? As much as I would like to write that way, I haven’t honed that skill so instead, I am going to tell you about Brown Landone’s way of looking at Everything.
Picture the sun. Now see it shining. Brown Landone says God is the “Spiritual Sun-Center” and we are It’s rays. He also calls us a “soulbeam” which has such a nice ring to it. Then he says, “You are, and always will be, one of the rays of God shining out of from His Sun-Center. Always think of God as the spiritual Sun-Center and Sunshine of all existence. Always think of yourself as a ray of His Sunshine!”
I really like how this sums up our Oneness and goes along so well with the post about being the Light of the World, but I want to share one more thing from Brown’s book, The A-B-C of Truth. In an attempt to reveal to us how we are eternally One with God, Landone talked about the Law of Divine Likeness which says “that which is created must be like its creator”. In the physical world, that means the sunbeam must be like the sun. For us as a ray of God, it means we are eternally radiating all that the Sun-Center is. Can you fathom it? You are God-Power radiating to world! That definitely seems like a good reason to follow Brown’s advice and “Always think of yourself as a ray of His Sunshine!”
